  8. Well, now you think about it, there are many things at home, including phones, most mobile equipment like iPods, cameras etc.

    Lots of things that can have batteries, interestingly enough, can now be recharged manually, without recharging a battery. For example, torches can now be wound up instead of replacing the battery.

    Also, they can be vice-versa. For example, watches used to be wound up, but these days, they most commonly, have batteries. It is very interesting how things are powered and used…

  11. Hi Year 5! This sounds like fun…my computer needs a battery, but not one that looks like your picture Miss B! Our telephone needs a battery, the Xbox remote needs batteries, hearing aids need batteries and my camera needs a battery! Why is it that all the batteries go flat at the same time?     I am in room 11 and I have come to let you know how many things I have at home that require batteries.
    here’s a list of the stuff:
    1. my tomagotchi
    2. my speakers for my I pod nano, but I can pug them into the wall so that they don’t use the battery.(x2 my brother has one too.)
    3. Torch
    4.Computer
    5.Remote
    6. phones, x2
    7. I- pod toch
    I don’t think they will all fit on one comment so I’ll stop there.
    It is amazing how many things there are when you think about it huh?
